Jackie French's Diary of a Wombat has won numerous awards and with good reason - it's a funny and engaging book for early readers.
You'd think that wombats would have very straightforward lives. But this wombat shows just what they can get up to and how they have us humans all sorted out.
Good for kids between 2 and 8 years of age - but able to be enjoyed immensely by adults as well - Wombat's diary contains mostly short, simple text with some longer, more challenging sentences towards the end.
Featuring beautiful and fun illustrations by Bruce Whately, this is a classic children's tale that everyone will enjoy.
